Welcome to Alanbat Hotel

Alanbat Hotel, nestled along the vibrant Kings Highway in Wadi Musa, Jordan, offers travelers a blend of comfort and breathtaking natural beauty. Rated a solid 3.5 stars, this family-run establishment stands out for its spacious, clean rooms and panoramic views of the Petra mountains, lush green fields, and steep valleys. Guests frequently mention the hotel's terraces as a prime spot to witness stunning sunsets, adding a serene backdrop to their stay.

What truly elevates the Alanbat experience is its genuine hospitality. The staff is known for being warm, approachable, and attentive to guests' needs, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that many find refreshing. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi accessible throughout the premises, with the strongest signal in the lobby. Additionally, the Turkish Hammam featuring a steam sauna and jacuzzi provides a luxurious yet affordable wellness retreat at $25 USD, an amenity highly praised by visitors.

Alanbat’s location is another key draw — just 3 kilometers from the Petra Visitor Center, it sits perfectly for explorers eager to delve into Jordan’s rich archaeological heritage. The hotel also provides free shuttle services to and from Petra, a convenience appreciated by many guests. Dining here is notable; the selection is varied and fresh, attracting even guests from neighboring hotels. The breakfast room offers lovely views, enhancing the meal experience.

While the hotel excels in many areas, some guests have noted minor drawbacks such as the smaller swimming pool and occasional cleanliness lapses in hallways and dining areas. The reception, situated on the top floor, may cause slight confusion during check-in. Nevertheless, these quibbles do little to overshadow the overall positive experience.

For travelers seeking a peaceful retreat with spectacular views, authentic service, and easy access to Petra, Alanbat Hotel presents a compelling choice. Its combination of comfort, stunning landscapes, and thoughtful amenities makes it an inviting haven for both relaxation and adventure. Alanbat stands as a testament to the charm of family-run hotels in the heart of Jordan’s most historic region.

Very good location. Stunning view of sunset from the terrace. Rooms are ok,spacious and clean. There is quite good selection of food, compare to other hotels. Even people from nearby hotels are going to eat here. Staff is friendly,if you need anything they are quite helpfull. Wifi free in all area, even though best signal is in the lobby. They have Turkish Hamamm(steam sauna and jacuzzi) for 25usd. Also outdoor pool is here, but open only from first May.

Excellent view. Friendly employees. Wifi is easily accesible anywhere in the hotel. Rooms are neat and spacious.Minor complaints: the hallways and restaurant/bar could have been somewhat cleaner, swimming pool is a bit too small.

two hotels one in the downtown and the other in the cliff. Both have panoramic views. Rooms in the cliff one (Alanbat 1) is more spacious and the view is Petra mountains, green fields and stream in the steep valley. Alanbat 1 is a place of relaxing and meditation, very clean, food served fresh during the stay. staff are helpful, they are family administrated. Turkish bath and swimming pool is excellent. Alanbat 2 is closer to the shops clean and more suitable for economic visitors. This hotel is recommended.

Nice hotel with beautiful rooms. Almost empty due to decreased tourism in Jordan. Checkout was a problem, nobody knew what to do and their bookings were pencil in a notebook.

Hotel was good enough with sizeable rooms & nice view from breakfast room, however highly recommend the Turkish bath. The gentlemen was very professional and lovely whom also worked at hotel front desk, and lady also. Many thanks.

The views from the hotel are amazing. Mind the fact that the reception is on the top (6th floor). Pick rooms not lower than 2nd floor as they have balconies. Rooms are really spacious. Attentive restaurant staff.

A great and luxurious hotel for its relative cheap price. The pool is open all night, though the shisha and coffee service there was a bit slow. A five minute texi drive away from the entrance to Petra.
